The songs on this record started with a click, acoustic guitar and a scratch vocal. We added real drums, bass and electric guitars. After the instruments were tracked, Aaron scheduled a few sessions to track “real” vocals. After vocal were finished, we mixed and mastered the songs. Take a listen to samples below.
“A Little Stronger”
Where we started. This is the version of the song that we started with. Just a vocal and acoustic guitar. From the start, I immediately heard the opening melody as horns.
Where we ended up. This is the finished version after real drums, guitar, bass, and horns were added and the track was mixed and mastered.
